How We Met
Written by Lucy ...My estate agency career all began when I first met Rebecca at a seniors coffee morning in Warnham while visiting my friend Vivian. Rebecca was there, trying to find a good home for some wool and fabric.
She was helping a gentleman selling his beloved family home for 40 years, following the passing of his Parents. He wanted all the sentimental items to go to a good home, Rebecca explained how she and Hepburn At Home had arranged for items from furniture to soft furnishings to go to the Red Cross, other local charities and organisations.
Having moved several times myself, I know how stressful the moving process can be, even in the best of circumstances.
I was fascinated by Rebecca’s personal and supportive approach to estate agency. It was clear she wasn’t just focused on transactions; she genuinely cared about helping people. We started talking, and her philosophy of guiding clients through the entire moving journey and this really resonated with me.
I’ve always had a love for property, having renovated several homes. But more than that, my passion lies in helping people, especially those who may need a little extra support. In my previous career in social care, I helped vulnerable individuals through the moving process. I also personally set up five independent supported living flats for people with learning disabilities, which I still manage today. It’s incredibly rewarding to help people find the right place to call home!
With Rebecca's support showing me the ropes, I started my own business working with Rebecca in association with Keller Williams. Keller Williams provide the backing and expertise of a large company, allowing us to focus on what truly matters—supporting our clients in a personal and meaningful way. Rebecca and I continue to work alongside each other, supporting each other because we share the same values.
If you’re looking for an estate agent who genuinely cares about guiding you through the entire moving process, we might be the perfect fit. We take on just a handful of properties at a time so we can dedicate our full attention to every detail—from marketing to communication, ensuring a smooth sale while minimizing stress.
By the way all the wool and fabric found great new homes, going to local craft groups or being transformed into items for charity.
