LOCAL AREA

WARNHAM & KINGSFOLD

HOLMBURY ST MARY, PEASLAKE & COLDHARBOUR

EWHURST, FOREST GREEN & WALLISWOOD, WOTTON & ABINGER

The village shop in Warnham, next to the butchers is in the heart of this picturesque village with its primary school, cricket field, playground, pre-school, village hall, and its two pubs, The Sussex Oak & The Greets. It also has a train station with direct line to London Bridge. It is less than 3 miles to the centre of Horsham with all its larger town facilities.

In Kingsfold The Owl Pub is the centre of the village.

Whilst it is divided by the A24 the local community regularly meet on dog walks or in the pub for social events such as the Race night or the Pub Quiz. The village has been my home for over 20years, and my husbands family for generations.

It is a great location for the new secondary school, Bohunt and offers easy access for those that commute to London by car.

The three peaks of Holmbury, Pitch and Leith Hill in the Surrey Hills offer  some of the most amazing views and thousands of acres of walking, bike and horse riding.

Holmbury St Mary has some beautiful properties and is relatively unknown. It has two pubs and a rustic coffee shop for passing walkers & cyclists (Fantastic Banana Bread!). There is a village hall which always has something going on for the community.

Coldharbour is the highest habited village in the South East. It is a community of around 100 homes, a village shop and a pub with its very own microbrewery. The Plough is definitely my favourite Pub in the area and the burgers are amazing!

It is visited by walkers and cyclists. With Leith Hill Tower being the highest point in the South East, on a clear day you can see both the City of London to the North and the sea at Lancing.

If you need any walks then give me a call!

Forest Green & Walliswood are small villages with a couple of small shops and a couple of pubs. The Parrot, which serves great food (I can vouch for that) is located by the Cricket Pitch. The others are The Scarlett Arms and The Punchbowl.

It is in the heart of the Surrey Hills AONB, with Holmbury Hill, Leith Hill & Pitch Hill right on the doorstep and the fantastic views they offer.

Walliswood was famed when Baryonyx dinosaur bones were discovered in 1983.

Wotton is a beautiful location with the Tillingbourne Stream and the beauty spot of Friday Street. The area is largely owned by the Wotton Estate, however there are some privately owned properties tucked away.

The area has a couple of pubs, The Wotton Hatch, The Abinger Hatch and the large hotel Wotton House Hotel.

I know this area extremely well having work for the Wotton Estate for many years.
